Awful. This office does not return client phone calls. When you're paying an attorney $350/hr to make sure your violent ex-husband with three restraining orders against him doesn't come home "to finish the job"
you expect them to pick up the phone. Not their legal assistant (who changed 3 times in two months.) Not their paralegal, (who changed twice in two months). Not being able to handle an emergency phone call or follow through on protecting their clients says everything about this office: poorly staffed, focused on superficial appearance, and ineffective.
I was in a desperate situation and this firm failed me. I should have known better when I was in the waiting room and could overhear Jamie talking to Maryanne about the pathetic losers that Tinder was trying to set her up with. Mocking men for being bald, being old, too fat, whatever.
A huge red flag, but I ignored it.
I guess she had man troubles of her own that were much more important than mine.
If you need an attorney that will answer the phone when you need them try someone else.

Do not go to Jamie!!!! U will only talk to her paralegal that has no idea how to write up a proposal. They messed up on a repossessed that I basically wrote out for them which then cost me more money to have them rewrite it ??? Jamie is non existent til the day of court which nothing had been discussed prior. She cancelled on me and rescheduled 3 out of 6 times. They charge $400 for a invoice showing what they charge you for the whole office is incompetent. My husbands lawyer worked with me, he was on top of everything and my husband knew right away about everything. I wish I had hired him before my husband did. I would be waiting for days to hear anything back which I would have to make the call to find out. She's a joke.

In a system where fathers don't win custody often and mothers get multiple chances, Jamie Hazlett comes highly recommended. Yes, it cost money to have a seasoned professional attorney like Mrs. Hazlett. But you get what you pay for. Jamie knows the ins and outs of family law and she knows the system. She is dynamic and passionate about her profession and the spirit of a mother comes out when fighting for what's best for the children. I am so grateful for Jamie and her team. Receiving full custody of my twins and being able to provide structure, opportunities and life adventures as their farther has been wroth every dollar spent on Hazlett & Associates!

Just happened to come across Jamie's profile in yelp. I noticed 2 out of the 3 reviews were not favorable. She also represented me for a few months until I fired her as my attorney hence the 1 star review. Do I really need to go into all the reasons? Just trust me when I say keep looking for someone who is good with communication, trial prep, strategic thinking and planning, negotiations, courtroom savoy with real litigation skills. That about covers it.

Worst experience ever. An attorney, you would think, shouldn't screw you in court. Especially for how much we paid! Very little communication and no explanations. Now we owe more money because of this office's inability to win in court. Would've never hired an attorney had I known how awful it would be

Most horrible experience of my life. Bad communication all the way through, non-existent customer service, the billing lady won't call me back no matter what. I was the next number in line to add onto her bottom line, no caring or passion. Would only recommend to someone I really disliked.
